Ciste Infheistiochta Gaelige is the main driver on the island of Ireland and indeed globally in encouraging social entrepreneurship, while complementing the revival of the Irish language. Its role harnesses job creation through the creative industries and the arts economy while advancing its commitment to the Irish language through strategic investment in the capital development community cultural hubs across the North of Ireland. Its core objective is to assist, physically, in the Irish language revival. These community cultural hubs in turn will act as a catalyst in promoting understanding and the importance of the indigenous language of Ireland, thus underpinning the peace process for all communities. By its work in both rural and urban communities in the North of Ireland, Ciste seeks to unlock the creative talents of men and women today while laying the ground work for future generations to come, via support for sustainable projects in the arts, media, and entertainment.
